Thor: Love and Thunder’s collaborations continue as all the Marvel-based mobile games are celebrating the release of the latest movie in the massive Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel Future Revolution, the stunning open-world mobile RPG also enters the fray with a brand new character and Epic Invasion that is inspired by the events of Thor: Love and Thunder.
Let’s talk about the new companion joining Marvel Future Revolution first. It is none other than Thor’s love interest from the movies, Dr Jane Foster. She won’t be joining the squad in her nerdy PhD avatar, though, but as someone who equals her beau’s powers – Mighty Thor. Jane has somehow managed to rebuild the destroyed Mjolnir (the movie covers the how and why), and it granted her similar powers to Thor.
As the Mighty Thor, Jane can use the Mjolnir in the move Thunder’s Fury, that has her spin the hammer to deal massive lightning damage to all enemies. These lightning strikes can pierce foes and also bounce between enemies, increasing the damage output with each new opponent hit. This companion works well when electrocuting large crowds and decreasing all their attacks, especially in modes like Omega War.
Moving further, this update’s Epic Invasion is called The God Butcher and focuses on Love and Thunder’s big bad – Gorr. Thor has been captured by the super villain and players will have to complete different phases to free him. He will then go on to join his friends – Miek, Korg, and Valkyrie in an epic battle to defeat the god killer and win the Gorr-themed Special Battle Badge.
Finally, players can take part in events like the Might Omega Wheel event that will allow them to gain Mighty Thor for free and the Thunder Fragment Craft event that grants three-star Thor to players for completing the new Epic Invasion.
