Remember at the start of March when we told you that Kombinera was going to launch in April? Of course you do. Well, it’s officially April and Kombinera has officially launched on the Play Store. So it’s fair to say we nailed that one.
The game is a puzzling platformer from the reanimated corpse of Atari that sees you controlling a series of colored balls. You need to combine them all together to finish a level.
Sounds easy, right? Wrong. Because you’re controlling all of the balls at the same time, so when one bounces, they all bounce. Cue lots of head-scratching and obstacle usage. Here’s a trailer.
Different balls have different special abilities, and you’ll need to make the most out of them if you’re going to finish the challenges here. How many challenges, you ask. Why, there are more than 300 of them.
And there’s also an emotional story to follow. There are definite shades of other heart-wrenching, brain-teasing puzzlers here. But that’s not a bad thing, right?
You can click here to download Kombinera from the Play Store. It’s a premium game and it’ll set you back $5.99.
