The Bard’s Tale – Warlocks of Largefearn is a new entry in the Bard’s Tale series, with a not-inconsiderable twist in its tale. That’s because you control the game with your voice. Oooooh, twisty.
The game has already been out on smartspeakers, and now it’s landed on the Play Store, where you can stick it on your phone or tablet. And then shout to get things to happen. You probably don’t have to shout.
It’s got everything you’d expect from an RPG – combat, exploration, NPC interaction and loot. You’re just making things happen with your words. Here’s a trailer.
There are four different classes to play as, and you can pick one of two different subclasses to enhance and customize them further. You’ve got companions to unlock as well.
And if you don’t like using your voice, there are buttons on the screen you can poke at instead, like some kind of unimaginative caveman. Or person on a bus.
It all sounds pretty darn intriguing, and exactly the kind of experimentation we like. You can click here to download The Bard’s Tale – Warlocks of Largefearn from the Play Store.
